Application Sessions are a time for job seekers to receive assistance in the job application process. Computers are available for your use, or you are welcome to bring your own laptop with wi-fi capability. AEA staff will be available to assist with any questions or problems regarding the application process, and can offer advice in writing cover letters or follow up communications with employers as well as help identify appropriate positions for each specific job seeker and offer recommendations about how to get the most out of your job search efforts. Please attend all application sessions dressed in business casual attire, as we may have the opportunity to meet with employers during this time. Please also remember to bring your AEA folder to each appointment.
Space is limited, and reservations are required 48 hours in advance to attend an application session. Please sign up below, or call AEA at (913)909-5158 if you need assistance getting scheduled in an application session.
*In the event of bad weather, AEA offices will be closed whenever the Shawnee Mission School District cancels classes.
